This is a Google template with the app code already attached—not an Excel download. Google still requires you to authorize and deploy your own copy.

Make your own Google copy
Choose Get my private copy, then Make a copy in Google. Save it in your own My Drive. Leave “Share it with the same people” unchecked if shown. Keep your copy Restricted.

Prepare your tracker
Reload your new Sheet. Choose Finance Tracker → Setup / repair app and review Google’s permission request for your copy. Never enter information in the public template. Stop if the account or permissions look wrong.

Turn your copy into a private web app
Choose Extensions → Apps Script. Your code is already there. Choose Deploy → New deployment → Web app.

Choose Deploy, complete Google’s authorization if requested, and save the web-app URL ending in /exec. This is your personal link—not this website’s address.

Build your first money plan
Open your own app link. The welcome questionnaire asks about current cash balances, your next paycheck, and upcoming bills. Later, Home has Reopen questionnaire and How to Use.
What if Google sign-in or setup does not work?
Try your personal app link in a private browser window signed into only the Google account that owns your copy. Some work or school accounts restrict Apps Script. Do not make financial data public to fix an access error.
If the Finance Tracker menu is missing, reload your copied Sheet and confirm you copied the Google template rather than downloaded an Excel file.
Can I share one tracker with my spouse?
Yes, but this template starts private to you. The Home → Yes — show me how guide explains the separate household setup. Your spouse must use their own Google sign-in and be explicitly approved.
The household edition requires an exact two-account allowlist, Restricted Sheet sharing, and a deployment that runs as the accessing user. Do not broaden an owner-only deployment by itself. Both household members can view, edit, and copy the shared records.
Download household edition and owner setup instructions. For another household, send this website link so they create their own private copy.

The launcher is not the financial app itself. Your tracker opens separately on Google and requires internet and your Google sign-in. This website never loads your balances or transactions.

Open this website in Safari. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Enable Open as Web App if shown and tap Add. This installs the launcher with its safe icon.
To open your private Google app directly from a custom icon instead, use Apple Shortcuts: create a URL action with your own /exec link, add Open URLs, then Add to Home Screen and choose the downloaded icon.
Android
Open this website in Chrome. Use Install launcher if offered, or the browser menu → Add to home screen → Install. Labels vary by browser. The installed launcher uses the supplied app icon.
A shortcut directly to your Google-hosted tracker may use Google’s icon instead. The branded launcher avoids relying on that shortcut icon, but still opens your Google tracker separately.
PRIVACY BY OWNERSHIP
We share the tool.
You keep the records.
Your copied Sheet and attached script live in your own Google account. The template publisher receives no automatic access to your copy. Keep its sharing Restricted.
This website has no financial database, sign-up form, advertising, or analytics code. The hosting provider may keep ordinary connection logs. Google processes your tracker’s data under your Google account’s terms.
Never enter bank passwords, full account or card numbers, PINs, or security codes. The app does not connect to banks, send payments, or guarantee financial outcomes.
Keep backups in your own account. Independent copies are not updated automatically; future updates must be installed in your copy. Only share the clean template or original clean package with another household.
